Time passes quickly, and suddenly it several days ago we blogged last. Some might call it negligence. I prefer to call the bustle! Not because we have done a lot the last few days. The school has been cared for, we still have not figured out if we have exams, and so much more, they do not actually happened. For yesterday! In yesterday's rise (my mother's birthday) we went out to eat fine at a restaurant called "Terrace in the Sky". It lies on the other side of the Columbia campus, but within walking distance from where we live. So, according to Danish standards, not American. The entire tom si jerry o ora restaurant is built on top of an apartment complex, and it has views over the city. The weather was unbearable, we were up to round the 35-37 degrees in the afternoon and the air was perfectly still throughout the city. So we preferred to sit indoors in the brilliant invention called air conditioning. They had enough better view of what might be called the "nice" part of town outdoors but would rather Harlem and comfortable temperature! The food was good, but the place itself was probably a bit too fine compared to what we are used to. It was not that expensive, compared to a fine restaurant in Denmark! After a lovely meal with dessert and everything we took a taxi down to Times Square, where we were in the Minskoff Theatre and see the Lion King! Minskoff Theatre is one of the fine old theaters on Broadway, tom si jerry o ora with a whole great location. It certainly comes as no surprise to some that it is precisely Lion King they have chosen tom si jerry o ora to play here. The play was absolutely fantastic, really nice built up with creative costumes and beautiful music that Disney is so well known for. It's a great experience to be in the theater, now we have both been in and see Mamma Mia and The Lion King, and I must admit it's something I could quickly become accustomed to. The atmosphere is much better than the movies and it is with live performances and live music appeals to me also just a lot more. It may be recommended that you take a walk on Broadway, if you are over here on holiday! :) Today we should have been up to go on an old subway track that makes a piece of the city, and has now been converted into a large garden in 13 storey height. However, we have amended the plans as they have promised as bad weather today as it was yesterday. I do not know what we should instead, but I hope I will soon be informed. Before I conclude, I would just as that on the blog "Confessions of a shopaholic" has come a small additional piece. I did, for reasons I do not remember ever to have completed it. So you get your end of the day, for those still interested: D
