Welcome to our 2013 CMA Awards live-blog! We'll be chronicling the highlights here all night long - and feel free to add to the conversation in the comments section below. Watch, read, comment - and keep your finger glued on the "refresh" key.
6:54 - Just a few minutes from showtime! Here's our suggestion: go check out our 2013 CMA Awards tom n jerry games Red Carpet Gallery. Our photographers are still sending us images, and it looks like we'll have well over a hundred shots of all the stars when everything's in. Click here to check it out.
7:00 - Arguably country's biggest star at the moment - Luke Bryan - opens the evening with a bit of "That's My Kinda Night" before throwing it to another red-hot act - Florida Georgia Line - who join Bryan for their summer smash "Cruise." The two acts spent their summer touring together, too.
7:05 - Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood kick off their sixth year of hosting with a parody of War's "Why Can't We Be Friends?" inspired by a number of current pop culture feuds. The performance moves Luke Bryan and Zac Brown to make up and hug, and includes the lyric "And Tom Petty hates us all"
7:07 - Kellie Pickler (apparently the Vanna White of the evening), is handing out cards to stars in the audience to let them know who they'll be feuding tom n jerry games with. Kelly Clarkson gets Reba, Kenny Rogers gets Paisley, and Darius Rucker gets Julianne Hough (in reference to her controversial Halloween costume.) tom n jerry games
7:10 - Brad and Carrie are just getting warmed up. After thanking tom n jerry games Taylor Swift for not turning out like Miley, they start playing a "Blurred Lines" parody inspired by "Duck Dynasty" that gets several members of the Robertson family up on stage.
7:37 - The CMA song of the year is "I Drive Your Truck," a Lee Brice hit written tom n jerry games by Jessi Alexander, Connie Harrington and Jimmy Yeary . The song was inspired by the real-life story of a father and his son, who was killed in action tom n jerry games in Afghanistan and posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor. It also won song of the year at a ceremony held by the Nashville Songwriters Association International last month.
7:49 - It's already a very big night for Florida Georgia tom n jerry games Line , and it might get bigger. Taking tom n jerry games the podium for their second win of the night - for vocal duo of the year - the guys thank a few fellow stars for giving their careers a boost: Jake Owen, Taylor Swift and Luke Bryan .
7:54 - After Keith Urban and Miranda Lambert 's passionate performance of their duet "We Were Us," Paisley (now dressed in Robin Thicke's famous "Beetlejuice" striped suit) orders them to go back to their spouses.
7:58 - It's time for Taylor Swift , who may be leaning very strongly towards pop these days, but has assembled an all-star crew of country tom n jerry games and Americana stars to play "Red" with her. That includes Alison Krauss and Vince Gill , who trade lines on the second verse as the crowd roars.
8:09 - Er, Hunter Hayes , you're late for your CMA Awards performance with Jason Mraz . Oh wait, the country tom n jerry games and pop star meant to do it this way, walking from backstage to the the main stage as they perform "Everybody's Got Somebody But Me." Did you catch the cameo from "Nashville" star Sam Palladio ?
8:13 - It's then their duty to present the award for new artist of the year to Kacey Musgraves . She says her last year has been "indescribable," and points out her grandma - and former booking agent! tom n jerry games - in the audience.
8:15 - We're still due a visit from Nirvana/Foo Fighters rocker Dave Grohl, but country bad boy Eric Church is throwing down the heavy metal gauntlet with a pyro-packed performance of his new single, "The Outsiders."
8:28 - Sheryl Crow takes the stage to remind us all watching to buy records (and judging by recent Billboard figures, we could all use a reminder) present the award for album of the year. The winner is...Blake Shelton for "Based On a True Story." It's his first win in the category. "All of a sudden, my phone's blowing up," he exclaims.
8:31 - Brad Paisley takes a moment to send well wishes to Dolly Parton , who's recovering from a minor car accident . He also makes a joke involving airbags that we'll let you piece together yourselves.
8:33 - "Ain't nothing in the whole wide world like a southern girl," sings Tim McGraw . Not a bad idea to pledge your allegiance to the heartland when you're rocking a new single tom n jerry games with some robotic, auto-tuned backing vocals. Tim has a mile-wide grin through this one.
8:40 - Time for Blake Shelton to play a tune from his award-winning album. This one's a serious love song called "Mine Would Be You." "What's your worst hangover, your best night
