Great new international poster for John Carter –Scannain

Walt Disney Pictures Ireland has sent over a brand new international poster for their forthcoming sci-fi adventure John Carter . Like all of the marketing to date this one is another winner, with a great old-school feel.
Based on Edgar Rice Burrough’s Barsoom series of novels, the movie sees Wolverine star Taylor Kitsch in the title role as a Civil War soldier who wakes to find himself on Mars in the midst of another bloody battle.
The movie marks Pixar director Andrew Stanton’s first foray into live action, working off a script new yorker cartoons from Michael new yorker cartoons Chabon. If this can live up to Stanton’s extraordinary Wall-E then we are in for a treat.

In a world on the brink of collapse, Carter rediscovers his humanity when he realizes that the survival of Barsoom and its people rests in his hands.
